The Vertical Hour opens today

New York: David Hare's The Vertical Hour opens today at the Music Box Theater. Starring in the production is Julianne Moore, Bill Nighy, and Andrew Scott.
The creative team features set design by Scott Pask, costume design by Ann Roth, and lighting design by Brian MacDevitt. Sam Mendes directs.
The play's limited engagement ends on April 1, 2007.
The drama concerns Nadia Blye, a young American war correspondent turned academic who now teaches Political Studies at Yale. A brief holiday with her boyfriend in the Welsh borders brings her into contact with a kind of Englishman whose culture and beliefs are a surprise and a challenge, both to her and to her relationship.
