New York : Ashlee Simpson, who is currently making her London stage debut in Chicago has been announced to participate in the musical's star-studded 10th anniversary concert, which will take place on November 14th at the Ambassador Theater.

21 year-old Texas-born Ashlee Simpson followed in her sister Jessica Simpson’s footsteps by becoming a recording artist. Her debut album Autobiography went triple platinum and her single "Pieces of Me" was an international smash hit. She made her own MTV series The Ashlee Simpson Show and made frequent guest appearances in the television series Malcolm in the Middle , as well as playing a continuing role in 7th Heaven. Her new album I Am Me has recently been released.
She joins the previously announced Ann Reinking, Bebe Neuwirth, James Naughton, Joel Grey, Marcia Lewis, D. Chicago as it known today began as part of City Center's Encores! series in May of 1996. It went on to open on Broadway on November 14, 1996 at the Richard Rodgers Theater. It moved to the Shubert Theater on February 12, 1997, and began performances at its current home on January 29, 2003.
