Rachel Stern replaces Katy Mixon in High Fidelity

New York: Rachel Stern has replaced Katy Mixon as Liz in the upcoming Broadway production of High Fidelity, which is currently playing its out-of-town tryout at Boston's Colonial Theatre. Stern took over the role soon after the musical opened on October 5th.
Also starring in the musical is Will Chase as Rob, Jenn Colella as Laura, Christian Anderson as Dick, Jay Klaitz as Barry, Jeb Brown as Ian, Emily Swallow as Marie/Charlie, Jon Patrick Walker as Johnny the Drunk, and Kirsten Wyatt as Anna/Alison.
The ensemble features Anne Warren, Justin Brill, Andrew Call, and Matt Caplan.
The musical will begin previews at the Imperial Theater on November 20th and officially open on December 7th.
High Fidelity features music by Tom Kitt, lyrics by Amanda Green, and a book by David Lindsay-Abaire based on the book by Nick Hornby. A tryout will take place at Boston's Colonial Theater from September 26th through October 22nd as part of Broadway Across America - Boston.
The creative team includes set design by Anna Louizos, costume design by Theresa Squire, and lighting design by Ken Billington. Walter Bobbie is set to direct and Jeffrey Sellers, Robyn Goodman, and Kevin McCollum will produce.

The book was also turned into a film starring John Cusack. The novel was set in London, the film was set in Chicago, and the musical will be set in New York.
