London: Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths are set to headline a new production of Peter Shaffer's Equus next year in the West End. The production, directed by Thea Sharrock, is expected to open in March 2007 at a theatre to be announced.
Radcliffe will play Alan Strang, a troubled teenager who is jailed for blinding horses. The teen is seen by psychiatrist Martin Dysart, who will be played by Griffiths.
Radcliffe has starred as the title character in four of the Harry Potter films and is currently filming The Order of the Phoenix, the fifth in the series. He has also completed work on December Boys.
Griffiths, who has appeared alongside Radcliffe in the Potter films as Uncle Vernon Dursley, has an extensive theatre resume. His most recent projects include last years Heroes and the National Theatre's 2004 production of The History Boys, for which he was awarded the 2005 Oliver Award. He is currently starring in the Broadway production of The History Boys and just won the 2006 Tony for his work there.

wohoo! behind ya all the way dan
what, this aint good.HES GOOING TO BE NUDE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!! im harrys biggist fan,i just dont want him to loose his respect.
Many well respected actors have played nude scenes in theatre and films. That doesn't have anything to do with being respected or not. Equus is a brilliant play, I'm glad he is doing it.
I did that role many years ago in college and it was one of the most rewarding things that I've ever done. Yes, the nude scene is long and difficult, but WOW what a whallop that play delivers. My college director told me once that if anyone was that conscious of the fact that I was naked, we hadn't done our job well...she was right.
nooooooooooosssssssssssa que sucesso!
u are best in all
he is asome and cute!!!!^_^!
