James McMenamin joins Butley

New York: James McMenamin is the latest actor to join the cast of the upcoming Broadway revival of Butley. He joins the already announced Nathan Lane, Dana Ivey, Julian Ovenden, and Pamela J. Gray.
Some of McMenamin's theater credits include BFE, The Gree Stalkings, Joan, Cobb, The Rose Tattoo, and Electra.
Butley, directed by Nicholas Martin, will begin previews at the Booth Theater on October 5th and officially open on October 25th.
Lane starred in a 2003 production of Butley at The Huntington, also directed by Martin. It premiered on Broadway in 1972.
The creative team will include set design by Alexander Dodge, costume design by Ann Roth, lighting design by David Weiner, and sound design by John Gromada.
Butley is a dark comedy about a literary professor who loses his wife and lover in the same day.
