Michael Cerveris and Patti Lupone extend in Sweeney Todd

New York: Michael Cerveris and Patti Lupone have extended their stay in the Broadway run of Sweeney Todd. The pair will stay with the production through November 26th.
The musical currently features Michael Cerveris, Manoel Felciano, Donna Lynne Champlin, Alexander Gemignani, Diane DiMarzio, Benjamin Magnuson, Lauren Molina and Mark Jacoby. John Doyle directs.
Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd opened on Broadway on November 3, 2005 at The Eugene O'Neill Theater. The unique staging of the production casts actor/musicians in the roles.
Sweeney Todd is based on the legend on a London barber who is driven to crime when a judge takes his wife and child from him. He partners with Mrs. Lovett, who bakes his victims into the tastiest meat pies in London.
