Shoshana Bean and Megan Hilty, who have starred as Elphaba and Glinda respectively in the Broadway production of Wicked , will join the musical's national tour for three stops.

Before taking the role of Elphaba on Broadway, Bean was Idina Menzel's standby. She went on for an injured Menzel in January 2005. She has also been seen on Broadway in Hairspray , and the Actors' Fund concerts of Hair and Dreamgirls . Hilty made her Broadway debut in Wicked .
The national tour currently stars Julia Murney, Alma Cuervo, P.J. Benjamin, K. Todd Freedman, Kendra Kassebaum, Sebastian Arcelus, and Logan Lipton.
