New York: Rita Wilson has extended her stay in Chicago. Originally set to play Roxie Hart through August 6th, she will now stay through the 20th. Wilson joined the cast of the musical on June 12th.
Wilson has starred in many films including Sleepless in Seattle, That Thing You Do, Runaway Bride, Jingle All the Way, Now and Then, The Story of Us, Mixed Nuts, If These Walls Could Talk, and Volunteers. Her husband is actor Tom Hanks.

Murder, greed, corruption, violence, exploitation, adultery and treachery - that is Chicago, the kiss-and-tell tale of Roxie Hart, a chorus girl who kills her lover as a career move; Billy Flynn, a sharp lawyer who turns Roxie into a celebrity; and Velma Kelly, a dancing jailbird with an ear for headlines and an eye for talent.
