Full cast announced for The Public's Macbeth

New York: The complete cast for the Public Theater's upcoming Shakespeare in the Park production of Macbeth has been announced.

Joining Liev Schreiber as Macbeth and Jennifer Ehle as Lady Macbeth will be:

Joan MacIntosh, Ching Valdes-Aran, and Lynn Cohen as the Weird Sisters
Herb Foster as Duncan
Jacob Fishel as Malcolm
Pedro Pascal as Bloody Sergant/Murderer 2
Mark L. Montgomery as Lennox
Philip Goodwin as Ross
Teagle F. Bouegere as Banquo
Andrew McGinn as Angus/Murderer 1
Sterling K. Brown as Macduff
Sanjit De Silva as Donalbain
Graeme Malcolm as Seyton
Florencia Lozano as Lady Macduff
Tolan Aman as Boy

The ensemble will include Seth Duerr, Amefika El-Amin, Stephanie Fieger, Hollie Hunt, Michael Markham, Lucas Near-Verbrugghe, and Clancy O'Connor.

Macbeth, directed by Moises Kaufman will play the Delacorte Theater from June 13th to July 9th as apart of The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park.

In Macbeth, victorious war general Macbeth returns from battle full of ambition and is hailed by three prophetic witches.  The taste for power overwhelms his wife and he and they murder the King to secure their position.  Macbeth is Shakespeare's savage thriller that looks at the difference between a leader and a tyrant.
