London's Who's Afraid of Virginia closes today

London: Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf plays its final performance today at the Apollo Theatre. Edward Albee's drama began its run in the West End on January 31st.

The cast includes Kathleen Turner as Martha, Bill Irwin as George, David Harbour as Nick, and Mireille Enos as Honey. All four cast members were nominated for a 2005 Tony Award. Irwin was awarded the trophy.The Broadway production at the Longacre Theater closed on September 5, 2005 after 177 performances. In Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, an embittered professor and his domineering wife turn an evening of no holds barred drinking into an evening of mind games and sexual intrigue.
