London's Movin' Out opens today

London: Movin' Out, the combination of the music of Billy Joel and the dance of Twyla Tharp begins its London debut today at the Victoria Apollo Theatre.

Starring in the production is James Fox as the piano man, Holly Cruickshank as Brenda, Ron Todorowski as Eddie, David Gomez as Tony, Matthew Dibble as James, and Laura Costa-Chaud as Judy.The production is set to run through July 17th. After closing, it will embark on a European tour. Dates and cities have not been announced for the tour yet.Movin' Out follows six lifelong friends through two turbulent decades illustrated through dance and the music of Billy Joel. There is no dialogue and all the songs are performed by a singer-pianist. The musical opened on Broadway on October 24, 2002, where it went on to win the Tonys for Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations.For tickets to Movin' Out visit our database here.
