New York: Martin Short's Broadway show, now titled Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me, is set to open at a theater to be announced on August 10th according to Variety.
Originally named, Martin Short: If I'd Saved, I Wouldn't Be Here, the show combines musical comedy sketches and dance numbers. Short will fill the stage with characters such as Jimimy Glick, Ed Grimley, and many others.
The show's original tryouts in Boston and Chicago were cancelled due to conflicts in Short's schedule. They will now take place at San Francisco's Curran Theater from April 25th through May 21st and at Chicago's LaSalle Bank Theater from July 5th through July 16th.
