New York : Charles Ross' very long limited engagement of the One Man Star Wars Trilogy ends its Off-Broadway run today at the Lamb's Theater.
Ross's tribute to Star Wars opened in New York on August 2, 2005. It was originally set to close on October 31st, but proved to be so popular that it returned to the Lambs' Theater on November 23rd.
The One Man Star Wars Trilogy is a high energy, nonstop blast through the first three Star Wars films, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back , and Return of the Jedi . The catch is, there's only one cast member. Charles Ross, the writer and solo performer, spent too much of his childhood in a galaxy far, far away - and his adulthood has been no different. Ross plays all the characters, recreates the effects, sings the music, flies the ships, and fights both sides of the battles.
