Jena Malone joins Doubt

New YorkDoubtMalone has appeared in such films as Saved!, The Ballad of Jack and Rose, Life as a House, Cold Mountain, The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys, and Pride and Prejudice which is currently in theaters now.January 10th will mark a big change in the cast of Doubt. In addition to Malone, Ron Eldard will begin performances as Father Flynn and Eileen Atkins will join as Sister Aloysius.John Patrick Shanley's drama opened at The Walter Kerr Theater on March 31st. It won the 2005 Tony Awards for Best Play, Best Actress in a Play, Best Director, and Best Featured Actress in a Play.

In Doubt, a strong-minded woman is faced with a difficult decision: Should she voice concerns about one of her male colleagues...even if she's not entirely certain of the truth? Set against the backdrop of a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, it makes for very potent theatre, to be sure.
