A stunning live art exhibit is coming to Los Angeles' hippest art gallery on October 29.

Directly from CONCEPT Los Angeles Fashion Week at ACE GALLERY, the October 13th live art exhibit "Futuristic Ice Huntress" showcases the collaborative talents of Emmy award-winning makeup artist Melanie Mills, Jason Barajas, designer Summer Rose and Hair designer and Studio DNA owner, Aubrey Loots.

Hailing from a family of artists and stage craftspeople, Mills is showcasing her second art exhibit that is also billed as a costume party for gallery visitors to enjoy the Halloween season too. The recreation of the Ace Gallery show will feature models wearing one-of-a-kind futuristic designs by Summer Rose, designing the makeup that reflects a vision of a barren arctic landscape adorned with beautiful ice huntresses.

Also happening alongside the "Futuristic Ice Huntress" is Petra Gallerie owner John Felix's "Last Saturdays" epic party "Cowborgs and SpacePort" where Petra guests can relax, drink, dine, unwind and groove to the always fabulous music that is playing at the Gallerie.

Mills is producing, co-designing and directing her second art installation with fashion designer Summer Rose and Jason Barajas, bringing Mills' vision of feral beauties who mimic nature in an barren frozen wasteland to life. A live owl majestically peers at the Ice Huntresses from his perch.

Mills has completed a successful New York and Los Angeles Concept Fashion NYC week, where she ran the makeup department for designers Jen Awad, Steven Burrows, Thai Nyugen, Bohemian Society, Indashio, NAMI, Mike Vensel and El Acosta and more along with Aubrey Loots, who oversaw all the hair designs.

Mills' "Ice Huntress" live exhibit shows models adrift and alone, where she tells Monsters and Critics that the ice huntresses were alone in the wilderness, as "love left their hearts shattered; the ice left them blind; yet only they can find the light."

This live art installation created by Mills is what she describes as a "world that was...as ice took us over and created the futuristic ice huntress. The ice huntress survives on what is left and what she makes of magic."

Mills' makeup design for Concept Fashion LA features the collaborative efforts of Summer Rose, whose wardrobe complements the gorgeous, icy, sexy, mythical, tribal and edgy look of the models with embellishments of fur, leather, feathers, in a mysterious and stark setting.

An award winning musician with an extensive background in clothing and wardrobe design, Summer Rose has developed a custom line of leather jewelry, leather body wear and fashion accessories, which debuted last spring at LA Fashion Week. www.summerrosedesigns.net

Summer completed work with Melanie Mills designing costumes and jewelry for Mills' upcoming make-up book Viva Glitter Viva Glamour, due out in 2012.

"Melanie is my soul sister. Working with her brings out my inner desire to create designs way above and beyond the four walls of my studio. Her ideas challenge me and eternally have set me free. Creating the ice huntress with Melanie was amazing and scary, because her world became our world!"

Petra Gallerie owner John Felix will host this exhibit on October 29.
