Wicked tells the incredible untold story of the legendary Witches from L. Frank Baum's classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. In the musical two girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, feisty and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very, very popular. Wicked is the story of these two unlikely friends and how they end up as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.

I saw Kerry Ellis last night in Wicked, (London production) and both myself and my husband were blown away. The professionalism, energy and honesty of her performance was something we both were affected by, long after we left the theatre. But even more than that - it was Kerrys' voice. The notes fly out of her and take you up and away, to the point where I found myself holdng my breath during her songs, especially Defying Gravity and No Good Deed. The power, energy and natural compression she has, makes her performance dazzling, and yet it seemed so effortless. We loved the fact that she was so responsive and sensitive to the other singers performance during duets. Stunning performance.
