Jesus Christ Superstar tells the last seven days in the life of Jesus Christ with a Broadway flair. It dramatizes Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, the unrest caused and his popularity, his betrayal by Judas, the trial before Pontias Pilate, and his ultimate crucifixion.
