First off, McCain was EXCELLENT on the Russia/Georgia issue. He knows his stuff and Obama doesn’t.

But did you catch the part where Obama said… “I called for a halt to violence because of the stress on Georgia…”

“Stress on Georgia”????

If Russia, invading with tanks and infantry, shooting and killing, capturing and destroying is just “stress”, I’d hate to see something really nasty… he might term it “really stressful“…

McCain is taking Obama to the woodshed. If I knew that Johnny Mac would be able to handle Obama this handily, this cooly…I might have even supported him in the primaries!Obama’s stuttering is giving me a headache.

Part of the Obama game plan was to get under McCain’s skin and make him flash his famous temper. From the look of the One, it is the One who is having a problem keeping his temper in check. He really really really can’t handle anyone implying he is less than the “one”.Jim Lehrer SUCKS as a moderator.

This is supposed to be a foreign policy debate. He is allowing UhUhUhbama keep interrupting. Obama gets to go first, and Lehrer lets him have the last word as well.

I can’t believe the lies coming out of BO’s mouth tonight. He lied when he said he wasn’t against nuclear power. He has stated that he is against any new nuclear until the waste problem is solved. Wellllll!!!! If your party would let the NRC license Yucca Mtn and start reprocessing waste….problem solved. But until then, the utilities have to store it on site.

McCain doesn’t um, uh, aaand or say, let me be clear. He just stands there and says what he wants to say. BO preens and carries on like he’s working to become Mr.Illinois. My platform as Mr. Illinois will be………

Obama lied...Sep 27th, 2008 - 07:35:57

Obama tried to twist out of the “no preconditions” statement by claiming that Henry Kissinger supported it. McCain openly scoffed at the notion, and for good reason — Kissinger didn’t say it:

Henry Kissinger believes Barack Obama misstated his views on diplomacy with US adversaries and is not happy about being mischaracterized. He says: “Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality.”

Either Obama lied, or he’s too inexperienced to understand what Kissinger said and actually meant.

One more point about Obama’s obfuscations about “preparations” as opposed to “preconditions”: he originally said that he would meet with Ahmadinejad, Castro, Kim, and Chavez in his first year in office:

QUESTION: In 1982, Anwar Sadat traveled to Israel, a trip that resulted in a peace agreement that has lasted ever since.

In the spirit of that type of bold leadership, would you be willing to meet separately, without precondition, during the first year of your administration, in Washington or anywhere else, with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea, in order to bridge the gap that divides our countries?

COOPER: I should also point out that Stephen is in the crowd tonight.

Senator Obama?

OBAMA: I would. And the reason is this, that the notion that somehow not talking to countries is punishment to them — which has been the guiding diplomatic principle of this administration — is ridiculous.

How much “preparation” time would he have?

Regarding the financial crisis that strikes the USA now,a similar situation existed in Sweden already in 1992 .Here is the recipe tha swedish government used to deal with itnsuccesfully as it seems and without having to offer the taxpayers's money for free to Wall Street investmant bankers, without any compensation. It strikes me as particularly
disgusting that the same persons who deny tha poor amonsgst you any help 'because the USA is the land of opportunities and those that didn't make it have nobody else to blame but themselves ' are now asking your money to bail out the richest part of the population that has reaped billions of dollars in profir every year and are now facing the consequences of reckless investment procedures.

McCain is so much like Bush it's unbelievable! He has a constant smirk on his face, wouldn't ever look over at Obama when he spoke, even when the moderator kept asking them to. He didn't address, or speak once, about the middle class - something he would never be able to relate to, and was obcessed on war, namely Iraq. He also kept bringing up the past when we need to look to the future and new ideas - scrap the ones that are bringing this country to it's knees and damaging it's reputation around the world. He also kept twisting the subjects around or ignored them to talk about what he wanted to, and I agree that the moderator didn't follow through on keeping him on track so that he would actually answer the question. I have to admit that McCain did do better than I thought he would, but that isn't really saying much, considering what I thought he would do.

...it seems the GOP sent a revelation up to GW Bush Friday.

You see, the dems hold Congress now. They brought Bush a bill he said he'd sign it. Still, Nancy Pelosi said the GOP had to get in line on it.

Why? Why Tonny?

1) Pelosi was Bullsh-tting GW Bush, and did not have the votes

2) (my guess) Pelosi needs the GOP for political cover in November

3) both

So, the GOP saunters up to their leader who was willing to sign the bill and told Bush, and Pelosi, to pound sand....if you want it, pass it! After all, the dems DO have the votes...we think...or not...what happened?

They crapped their pants

It seems that, the GOP'ers have a plan that costs about 300 billion less, if you count all the trimmings, with none of the out-year costs, that effectively turn the mortgage industry into socialized housing. They also proposed a fed backed insurance on mortgages i.e. the higher the risk, the higher the premiums.

Do you like socialized housing Tonny?

That is how we got a Fannie Mae to begin with: selling homes to those who cannot afford regular financing. Yes, Tonny, the liberals actually got us into this. In fact, go look at the investment banking community and then look a the largest dem doners. The dems are now the party of Wall Street, not the GOP. Aftyer all, just look who's proposing this lemon...

not the GOP!

Golly, what a surprise.

So, Pelosi claims the dems, who can pass anything they want, sunk the deal.

Tell us, Tonny, how so? How did the minority party manage to sink a deal the dems can pass at will, and the president will sign? Sound suspicously a lot like the Iraq war vote over WMD's to me, except the GOP are not stupid enough to bite, like the dems. I guess dumb ol GW can't fool them, huh?

Me, I like that $300 billion less option...how about you? Be sur eto get back to us.

'He didn't address, or speak once, about the middle class'

Talking points. That was mailed out from the DNC. Obama wants to tax the middle class....

'McCain is nothing like Bush.'

No he is nothing like Bush, he is worse. He kissed the Bush ring to get the money to run for President, picked a uneducated VP partner and did not again I say did not even win the debate on the subject he actually knows something about.

'He couldn't believe his ears at the evasions and lies of Obama.'

No he could not believe he has blown so much opportunity, bad decisions and misstatements all along the way.

'He didn't want to turn into stone. (Or is that obamas wife?)'

No he was embarrassed that a Junior Senator who less than 1/8th the experience he has is so much more on top of things than he is.

'The moderator never asked that.'

Who cares, McCain was pathetic for someone with 26 years experience, he should have leveled Obama, but again blew a great opportunity.

'Talking points. That was mailed out from the DNC. Obama wants to tax the middle class....'

So what, this is a true statement, McCain could care less about the middle class with his 9 houses and 13 cars, and $150 mm he married and did not earn. You are a liar about Obama taxing the middle class, unless you live in a world where the middle class makes $250,000 a year.

'Because the debate was about foreign policy and Obama would have LOST Iraq.'

You did not even watch the debate, you must of stole the Cliff Notes. Most of the debate was about the economy and when they did talk about Iraq, it was more than clear (for someone who does not have their neo-con head up their neo-con as*) that if Obama had his way there would be no Iraq and we would have had the Afghanistan and Pakistan problem taken care of buy now.

'Again, mailed out talking points.'

Further proof you did not watch the debate, why don't you just shut up!

'The 'world' shouldn't have a say in how we conduct our business. I know that may come as a shock to the needy and insecure, but we are electing an American president, not a world one.'

And neo-con idiot, we live in a world community. We are no longer 'the one in charge' in case you did not notice. Your boy Bush II had destroyed any influence we had in world affairs and if we need allies, they would be hard to come by without absolute proof there was a problem. 'The candidates WERE told to look at each other as they spoke - '

They were asked to when asking each other a question or answering a specific question. And no, the moderator never asked him to look at Obama while he regurgitated his cliffs notes memorized answers fed to him by David Axelrods focus groups.

'McCain knows nothing about the middle class with their thousand million and 9 houses'

McCain came from a humble background and is now living the American dream. So did Obama. The difference is that McCain never took any kickbacks in order to get where he is.

'Bush has torn down the good reputation of the US around the world, and that, indeed, needs to be changed.'

Bull. Firstly, it is pathetic and indicative of your insecurity that you would elect someone not because they would do a good job, but to chase some kind of Jr high school notion pf popularity. This is too serious to be lead around by the nose by smarmy europeans who want the USA to surrender it's sovereignty to them. People have died defending our freedoms and you want to turn them over to international organizations in the hope that you will be 'liked'? Grow up. They don't even like eachh other you naiive twit.

'McCain IS a war monger and obcessed[sic] with so-called 'winning' in Iraq - whatever that means.'

And Obama was obsessed with LOSING it. He isn't a 'war monger' he is a traitor and an idiot. And you are misplacing your scare quotes, you hyperventilating ninny. It is supposed to be:' The so called 'war on terror'... If you are going to mindlessly regurgitate the moonbat rants from huff po or Kos as independent thought you might at least get your idiotic phraseology correct.

'It won't be long before the U.S. will be completely owned by China, Japan and any other country that is rapidly buying out companies here.'

The money spent in Iraq killing off the islamist pigs who were in the same organization and movement that flew aircraft full of people in to buildings full of people is just a fraction of what it costs us to pay for our entitlements (which obama wants to effectively triple) and the interest on our debt (which obama wants to blow the lid off with huge entitlement programs.)

' McCain is too old to start the job'

Obama is too inexperienced. You would have to be nuts to believe that you are qualified to be president after 143 days in the senate.

'and still partially in Bush's back pocket..'

Bull. McCain is no Bush.

'Says you, you have proven you are a bias redneck neo-con who thinks McSame is the 'second coming'---you have again proven you are a dimwit!'

I am biased in favor of love of country and competence, neither of which Obama has. I am not a 'redneck', I am an Ivy league educated New Yorker. I am not a neocon and I believe McCain is going to be a better president then your obnoxious child, not that he is 'the second coming'. So once again, you have managed to be categorically wrong. At least you are consistent.

'No he is nothing like Bush, he is worse. '

Yup, any rationality you once had is completely out the window. and you are wrong.

' He kissed the Bush ring to get the money to run for President, '

Bush doesn't give money out to run for president. So...Wrong.

'picked a uneducated VP partner '

She has more experience then the head of your ticket.

'and did not again I say '

LOL, not English unless you are Foghorn Leghorn.

'did not even win the debate on the subject he actually knows something about.'

You only see what you want to see.

'No he could not believe he has blown so much opportunity,'

Even and outspent. Nope, he has taken a lousy hand and played it well. Obama has blown more money then Elvis and still can't outwit the old fellow.

'
No he was embarrassed that a Junior Senator who less than 1/8th the experience he has is so much more on top of things than he is.'

Like running to talk to Achmadinajad and lying that it was Kissengers idea as well? Again, you only see what you want to see. Read some of the other quotes here.

'McCain was pathetic for someone with 26 years experience, he should have leveled Obama, but again blew a great opportunity.'

Obama can speak well when he has been programmed correctly by his handlers or when he has a teleprompter. Still, he did get his ass kicked.

'So what, this is a true statement, '

No it isn't.

'McCain could care less about the middle class'

Not true, and Obama just sees them as suckers.

'McCain could care less about the middle class with his 9 houses and 13 cars, and $150 mm he married and did not earn.'

Well we went from 7 houses to 9, both of which are lies. (There is a difference between residences and investment property) and now we are counting his families cars as well... And I will take marrying in to money (He is doing fine on his own with several books and a senators career) over taking kickbacks from tony rezko any time. Obama is just a crook, that's all.

'unless you live in a world where the middle class makes $250,000 a year.'

Senator Barack Obama declared recently that he wants to “reform our tax code so that it rewards work and not just wealth.” We think that is a great goal if it means a simple tax system with low marginal tax rates. Unfortunately, a close inspection of Obama’s proposals reveals something disquieting: he would raise marginal tax rates for many middle-income taxpayers, a bad move for anyone seeking to promote economic growth

Note that for tax year 2006, the median Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) for American taxpayers was $32,000. Since median income is the statistical definition of 'middle-class,' that group will experience a whopping increase in effective marginal tax rate from about 20% to 35% under the Obama tax plan.

www.american.com/archive/2008/august-08-08/the-folly-of-obama2019s-tax- plan

You have been had... not that you care. You are a willing dupe.

'You did not even watch the debate, '

Yes I did. I also know Obama opposed the surge. He was WRONG, yet he isn't man enough to admit it.

'if Obama had his way there would be no Iraq and we would have had the Afghanistan and Pakistan problem taken care of buy now.'

It was clear that Obama hadn't the slightest idea what he was talking about and Pakistan is not like Iraq. Attacking Pakistan would be a disaster that would take MUCH longer then idiots like you would allow our military to have in order to win. They are also a nuclear armed country, idiot. Yeah, the wars would have been over, after Obama found some way to appease his islamist pals.

'Further proof you did not watch the debate, why don't you just shut up! '

I DID WATCH IT. IDIOT. Shut up yourself you hysteric.

'
And neo-con idiot, we live in a world community. '

I live in the USA. We are not subject to the whims of other countries. We are a sovereign nation. The fact that you are willing to give up your freedoms because of your insecurity isn't surprising. It just shows how pathetic and stupid you are. Some of us are made of stronger stuff.

'We are no longer 'the one in charge' in case you did not notice. '

I didn't. We are electing the president of the USA, not some patsy to be making us do even more of the carrying of other peoples burdens.

'Your boy Bush II had destroyed any influence we had in world affairs '

Nonsense. If you are expecting European nations to not be lazy, appeasing, backstabbing and selfish you are hopelessly naive.

'and if we need allies, they would be hard to come by without absolute proof there was a problem. '

Even WITH proof they do what is in their best internists and the bare minimum of their share of the work. That has been the case since 1945.

'We use to be able to just ask, but no longer'

When? Rwanda? The Congo? The Sudan? Afghanistan?

In terms of being'hated' you might notice that Bush outlasted the haters. Chiraq, Schroeder, Chrétien heck, everyone but Putin and Chavez who don't have to worry about public opinion has been kicked out and replaced with the likes of Martin, Sarkozy and Merkel. Even Silvio is back!

Only a needy, insecure fool would allow herself to be lead by the nose in order to chase some notion of popularity. But that was already established.

'Your boy McCain is part of the world problem, shoot first and ask questions later.'

Your owned bit*h oabama is an appeasing, sniveling, socialist, America resenting, grievance collecting, lying, corrupt, incompetent, false messiah with delusions of deity. He poses a fundamental threat to the USA and will drag us down into the dirt.

' understand what you are talking about or just stfu.'

Funny, you never fail to embarrass yourself yet you never fail to be obnoxious about it. And classless.
