While Lohan tries to keep out of another rehab stay, Hilton stewed inside county, Spears bought another cheap wig and Richie attempts to stay out of jail, Hollywood studios have quietly been grooming a whole new group of fresh faced clean girls who have the talent to boot.  


The death knell words to the ears of twenty-something heiress/singer/actresses that inhabit Le Deux and Teddies nightly: New starlets.


Lovely 16-year-old Emma Roberts, 21-year-old Amanda Bynes, and 13 going on 14 AnnaSophia Robb are poised to steal the thunder of today’s underwear adverse girls.

“I’m clean and I don’t do any drugs or alcohol,” Bynes, who stars in Hairspray said in Los Angeles.


“I feel like it’s a choice I make…I don’t need it.”


AnnaSophia Robb, Abigail Breslin, and Roberts all are busy in role after role, and are turning into beautiful young women in front of the cameras.


Roberts is the star of Warner Bros’ latest Nancy Drew detective film franchise.


Breslin, the Oscar nominee for “Little Miss Sunshine,” has signed on to star in two major upcoming films: the Jodie Foster film “Nim’s Island” and “Kim Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery.”

AnnaSophia Robb completed her role playing Leslie Burke in “Bridge to Terabithia,” and has four films set for release in the next year, including “Have Dreams, Will Travel.”


Robb has four features yet to be released; “Doubting Thomas”, “West Texas Children’s Story,” “Ferris Wheel” and “Jumper.” 


Depending on the box office results of the latest Lohan film, “I Know Who Killed Me,” this could be the tipping point of the reigning young tabloid fodders’ slow descent into obscurity, clearing the path for a new wave of fresh, female actors who take themselves and respect for their craft a bit more seriously.
