The Penny Dreadful Picture Show unleashes new trailer

The new horror anthology The Penny Dreadful Picture Show has unleashed a new trailer on the Internet that demonstrates the whacky terror fans will be able to expect from the film and its title character Penny Dreadful.

In the tradition of Tales from the Crypt, the film sees the lovely Penny Dreadful and her pals, the Edward Scissorhand-like zombie Dead Ned and werewolf Wolfboy, inviting the audience to join them for an evening at the movies.

Penny has also decided she needs the kiss of true love to become a real girl. Oh, dear! And so begins the search for true love’s kiss. Don’t mind the bodies.

With Eliza Swenson as Penny, the film also stars Sid Haig and Jeffrey Combs. Included in this picture show are several terrifying short films including “Slash in the Box”, “Slaughter House”, “The Scout”, and “Morning After”.

Each short takes on a different decade of horror, paying homage to the cult-classic films of the past. With its 60’s streets, 70’s clothes, CGI giant monsters, SFX make-up, and slow-motion exploding heads, cult-classic horror never looked so good.

Take a look at the trailers and get ready to have a hell of a good time:
