If you are a youngster, the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers came to TV and became a worldwide phenomenon almost overnight.

The joy of having your son or daughter be drawn into something that captured your imagination is a priceless moment. I had this the first time my sons watched the original “Get Smart” with me and guffawed, asking me if I ever used a phone booth and what the cold war was all about!

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Power Rangers Lost Galaxy 40-DVD Box Set is a fat chunk of holiday bliss, so make sure to have snacks, warm jammies and blankets at hand to savor the action.

Shout! and Time Life are rolling out two must-have for all hardcore Power Rangers fans, cult classic TV aficionados and genre lovers.  Shout! Factory will be releasing individual volumes for the seasons, but the spiffy Box Sets have the exclusive Bonus Features.

The Box Set we recommend has new exclusive bonus features, such as the recent interviews with the cast and crew members from Power Rangers, as well as rare VHS tapes.

Following its debut in 1993, Saban’s iconic live-action pop culture series, Power Rangers quickly became the most watched children’s television program in North America.

Emphasizing the importance of teamwork, responsibility and helping others by following the adventures of a group of ordinary young people who “morphed” into superheroes, this long-running series has been seen in more than 60 countries, translated into numerous languages, and remains a mainstay in children’s programming blocks.

For 19 years, the highly entertaining saga and fan favorite characters from Power Rangers have captivated children and adults alike and are beloved by legions of fans worldwide.

It will also have a variety of unbelievable bonus content including a retrospective featurette on the MMPR phenomenon with brand-new interviews with members of the original cast and creative team. The full MMPR DVD Box Set includes the extremely rare “Galaxy Rangers” pitch.

The morphenomenal action, adventure, and life lessons are woven into thrill-packed adventures, and Shout! and Time Life have outdone themselves with exclusive in-depth bonus content, brand-new interviews with the cast and creative team, and much more!

The premise of this series was teaching the importance of teamwork, fitness, responsibility, inclusion, and helping others, as the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers weekly featured humorous adventures of ordinary teens who “morph” into extraordinary superheroes over the course of three seasons.

The adventure continues with Power Rangers Zeo, as the team takes on a new member, new zords, and meets new challenges and enemies. Then shift into Power Rangers Turbo, with the fastest team yet! Next, “Let’s Rocket!” as we blast off for Power Rangers In Space, then we’ll “Go Galactic!” as we join a new team in unexplored territory with Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.

The Power Rangers: Seasons One is all 145 original episodes from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Seasons One, Two and Three, plus the ten-episode series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Alien Rangers. It then continues on with Power Rangers: Seasons Four – Seven, featuring all of the original 183 episodes spanning the seasons entitled Power Rangers Zeo, Power Rangers Turbo, Power Rangers In Space and Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. In-depth bonus content includes a retrospective featurette on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers phenomenon, brand-new interviews with members of the cast and the creative team and more.
